Crafternoon - Design, Create and Connect (11-17 years)

Join us for an exciting afternoon of creativity and inspiration for teens and young adults at Crawley library.

Throughout the afternoon drop in to the library and enjoy crafts and activities including collage, Lego, making friendship bracelets, badges, board games and more.

This is a free event and there is no booking required.

An Afternoon with Elle McNicoll (11 years and over)

Join award-winning author Elle McNicoll to talk about her books, being an author and what it means to be neurodivergent.

Elle McNicoll is a best-selling and award-winning novelist and screenwriter. Her debut novel, A Kind of Spark won the Blue Peter Book Award and the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize as well as Blackwell’s Book of 2020. Elle’s teen and YA novels, including Wish You Were Her and Role Model, feature neurodivergent characters and explore themes of friendship, identity, and justice.

Elle is an advocate for better representation of neurodiversity in publishing and loves speaking to readers about her books, being an author and what it means to be neurodivergent.

This event is suitable for young people aged 11 and over.

PLEASE BOOK A TICKET FOR EACH PERSON ATTENDING THE EVENT.

This event will take place at 2.30pm on the 2nd floor of the library. This can be accessed via a lift. There are toilets available on the ground and first floors and an accessible toilet available in the children's library.

Unfortunately both Graffiti Art Workshops are SOLD OUT but keep checking Eventbrite to see if a space becomes available.
